hey guys im wanted to do my exhaust and eliminate my cats.....i live in a smog exempt area:great: so i was wondering if there was any kind of O2 delete or O2 simulator for our trucks...mine is an 06 silverado Z71 5.3l L33 engine. I was curious about this cause when i had my lexus is300 a company called token solutions made a complete O2 delete plug n play for that car. i know big difference from a import pocket rocket than a domestic tank but im not new to owning domestic trucks. also wonderin if i welded in some bungs and put in defoulers if that would work. i know several people have done that on other vehicles and had no problems. any info on this matter would be great.

Your truck will run better with the cats. I put larger diameter Magnaflow cats and intermediate pipe on my '05 Z-71. I use a Diablo Preditor to turn off my rear O2 codes. If you remove the cats you really should get a custom tune.

ok ill just relocate the cats after i get a set of long tube or tri y headers for it. im still in the process of looking for and deciding which programmer to get. Thanks for your info
