A buddy has the really expensive snap on one & It’s nice to be able to diagnose with it because of how detailed you can get with it. What scanners do you guys use & whys a good one I could snatch up for under 300-400$?

I bought BlueDriver so I could leave it in the vehicle and access it anytime I wanted on my phone. I'm trying to keep up with the kiddo's in the tech department. So far I like it. I have used SnapOn and OTC in the past at shops I have worked in. Definitely more can be done on those, but I feel like I have definitely gotten my $100 worth out of BlueDriver.

I'm definitely not the senior mechanic, but I got a Bluetooth obd2 off Amazon for like 20$. Its good to monitor the basics. But anything that it doesn't cover can be found through some work and research. I had a buddy who bought an expensive one and it took him longer to bring it over and use it then for me to determine TPS.
