I am trying to hunt down a GM Ring Gear and Pinion with the numbers 3873532 ring gear and 143257 pinion. I don't know what model of GM this went in but all my web searches point to maybe some kind of '79 model. This isn't for a vehicle of any sort. Its for a water well drilling rig rotary table. They used GM parts back then when they built this equipment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be easier to measure the ring gear diameter and number of teeth as well as the number of teeth on the pinion. Then call shops on the web to see if they can match them. There are many shops like Drivetrain industries etc.You could also ask them if they can cross reference those part numbers but that is some old stuff if it is from 79'.

I have gotten somewhere. This rear end comes out of a 70’s model c65 truck with a two speed rear end 175. It’s a gear set 688630 and ring 3873525 pinion 3783532. Gear ration 6.5/8.8? Just looking for some clean gear and pinions for those rear ends
