A couple years ago I swapped the 10-bolt in my 1991 Suburban for a 14-bolt. Because I was in a hurry to get the truck back in operation and uncertainty, I didn't hook the parking brakes back up. Then, I forgot about it. Fast forward to today, and I want to get it working again. The question is finding a proper set of parking brake cables that will hook up to the factory parking brake setup for the suburban, and also hook up to the 14-bolt brake shoes. Are the parking brake cables more or less interchangeable?

I think I might pick up a set of stock brake cables for the burb and see how close they are. Perhaps I can find an older 80s bodystyle 1-ton pickup to use to get part numbers off of.
