The guy who developed the photo gallery that I want to use has not released it to the general public yet. However, it is exactly what I want to use. Everyone gets their own account and posts their own photos to it. It's pretty cool.

He was supposed to have made it ready for me to try last week, but still nothing from him. (This is a hobby for him, so I'm just glad that he's doing it.)

Anyhow, maybe another week or two and we'll have a good high-quality photo gallery on here where you will get your own place to put images and share them with everyone.

You can post pics in the threads now. You just have to enter it in as a "<img src="http://yourserverwithpicture/picture.gif>" and it will appear on the site.

I tried using the img src tag but it didn't work so i used the IMG tag instead which worked. I also use photbucket.com to host pics its free and creates the tags for you.

it might be an option that I have to turn on. It's designed to prevent unwanted photos that might not be family-friendly. But this crowd seems to be all about familes, etc. so it's probably pretty safe.

yeah, you have to do a full reply (not a quick reply) and then highlight the URL and click the little Img button.

Cool deal on the gallery! :D

What kind of limitations will you be putting on the gallery?
I will eventually be able to have the wiring schematics on my geocities site, but if we could house them here, that could be a little better.

Let me know.

I'm not certain what types of limitations I will even need to put up. It will essentially be a database-drive photo gallery, so it should accept most common image formats that your browser can display.
