I was going through my truck today and found the original window sticker hidden under the removable bin in the console. Exciting stuff!

Has anyone else found a small treasure while going through their newly purchased used truck?

Found some benjamins

Found a wrench in the frame rail of an Austin Healey I bought. I don't know if it qualifies, but in a Benz that I was working on I found a wallet under the rear seat complete with credit cards and $400. It had a drivers license too so I gave it to the dealer (it was a trade in) and they returned the wallet.

When I brought my 76 Trans Am home (on a trailer) I found a family of mice living under the rear seat. I let them out of the car and then escorted them into my not-so-nice neighbors back yard.

Cool it should say where it was built, Canada, USA, Mexico.

Just so we know when you have problems with it where it was built a lot of people don’t take that into account when they say they have had problems. It does make a difference.

Well it really wasn’t meant as a put down on Canada.

But if those vehicles with the major problems were made in Mexico it would ans. A lot of questions.

Besides Canada has been making trucks for years. They have got to have gotten it right by now. LOL

Now Mexico that’s another story. They build all the 4 cyl. Engines for GM and many SUV’s.

So before everyone puts all GM vehicles into the crappy category look at where it was made.

Also you can not blame bad engineering on the folks that build them, that is the designers fault.
