RCX 5" with bl vs zone 6.5"

Okay I'm down to these two options. I have an 08 z71 cc 4x4 and I'm looking to go with a 20x12 -44 wheel with 33x12.50 Toyo mts. I have heard good things about both but this is basically going to end up a best bang for buck decision. I know I'll need to add at least 1.5 bl to the RCX kit but just wantd some input on either one with my proposed rim/tire choice.

FYI I am already running 33x12.50 on a -12 18x9 with a 2.5" top spacer and some trimming has already been done. Let me know what yall think. Thanks.

i'm a big fan of the rc lifts (had a few and no problems) but looking at their website it shows the 5" and 7.5" lift for your truck the same price. if your going to go with the rc 5" its going to cost the same amount for the 7.5". also a good tip call rc and talk to a salesman, i've did that on both my lifts and they have cut me a deal on both. just my $0.02.....good luck
Yea I saw the 7.5 but don't like the massive blocks in the rear nor the angles for the front. I think I will end up calling them though thanks.
imo 33's look to small with anything over 5 inches of lift, also i think a 12 inch wide rim is way to wide for that tire as well
I saw the new 7.5" being installed on a 2011 silverado the other day. The new anti-warp blocks are way better than the old style blocks. The angles werent too bad on the front end. My opinion, if you get the 5" later on down the road you'll be kicking yourself for not going bigger for the same amount of money.
I think you will rub with that setup with either option, unless you have already cut metal on your truck in which case you may not. If it were me, I would go with the 6.5" Zone. It's a far superior kit and then if you choose to go higher later on, you wouldn't be stuck. The 5" RC/Body lift combo would stifle any further lifting unless you remove one of the kits. I will say that I think the RC 5" kit is a good kit, but their 3.5" and 7.5" kits suck.

100% agree. Zone Offroad = AWESOME!
I couldn't tell ya about RC kit, but I run the Zone 6.5 lift and love it. The ride quality is great, not to stiff not to soft. Im running 35s and get some rubbing when if i crank it to much in reverse... but since you already did some trimming and plan on running 33s you shouldn't get much if any rubbing. Also I agree that 33s will look a little small with that much lift.
33's will look fine with that amount of lift. You have to consider that that much lift is necessary due to the width and offset of the wheels he wants to run. x12's cause clearance issues.
If I had the money to blow, I would rip off my Rancho kit and throw the zone kit on my truck. Also, check out the Nitto Trail Grapplers in a 295/70 its about a 34.5x12 and it will look good with a 6.5 maybe a little small, but you will save 300-400 bucks instead of going with true 35's. My two cents.
I have the RC 7.5 inch lift and i love it other than there shocks. I plan on changing out my shocks sooner or later and i know i will be completly satisfied with everything then. The deal for the RC lift's are the best i got mine for 1,075 shipped and got a really good deal $250 bucks for my buddy to put it on at a dealership, overall you will have good ride height and sooner or later i'm adding a 3 inch body lift so i'll have 10 1/2 inches all together.
