I have a 2003 durimax dually. Code is a gt4 I would like to know if a jh6 dually rear end from a 2006 would bolt in and work. Hope someone can help I have looked everywhere. And it's the only rear end I can find.

It's apples and oranges, the GT4 is the axle ratio
The JH6 is the axle housing with disk brakes.

What do you want to do so we can understand?

Remove the blown gt4 rear end and install the jh6 rear end complete. It's the only dually rear end I can find that is affordable.

Ok, got ya.

Does the blown rear end have disk brakes?

Are the springs, or the spring perches the same?

The GT4 is the rear axle ratio, 3:73, is the new JH6 the same ratio?

How many brake hoses? Do you have a hose at each wheel cylinder, or just one in the middle, check both axles.

Let us know the answers.
