Looking through manual and it states that my '03 Burb 4x4 has a 7600 lb tow capacity with the 6.0l and 3.73. The 4.10 gears are rated for 9600 lbs. I'd like to go with 410 or even 4.56 and run 33" tires. What gears are you guys running. Anyone towing heavy?

I have 4.10's with 35's in the '05 Silverado and 4.56's with 35's in the '96 'Burb. If I were you I'd go with 4.56's with the 33's and heavy towing. I only tow small trailers, like jet ski's and lawn tractors.

Thanks guys. I'm looking at the 4.56 gears. I'd hate to go with 4.10 and be disappointed. If I go with 4.56 I can stay with the 33" or go down a size or two.
