Well I have been hunting around looking at rear shocks that will accommodate just a 2" block kit and have gotten a bit confused. I came across were it was talking about EB1, EB2, S1, S50, BP7 BP8 and BP18 mounting codes. Since I have never bought shocks online I am not sure which ones to get.

2008 chevy silvy x-cab z71 18" stockers. The whole mounting codes thing has thrown me for a loop. Just not sure which ones I have. Appreciate the help?

I've never seen those codes??? Are you trying to lift or lower the rear end 2"?

yeah that's why i was curious silverado never thought I would need to know these and probably really don't but since it popped thought Id ask.

You know sstoner I didn't think to use goggle for some reason....usually it my best friend. Thanks for the link too what popped up on the zone site didnt go into that much detail and had pics i couldn't make out

guess i have to crawl under it tomorrow and see what size bolts i have in there but do know they are freaking huge looking.
