I just got a recall notice for my 2007 Silverado for the heater blower and wiring. The notice was pretty vague and more or less stated that a fix was in the works. Anybody got any info?

I got the same letter for my '03 Silverado. It's not a recall, but a "special policy," which means if you have the problem described in the letter before 150k miles, they will repair it under warranty. The problem is with the blower resistor and connector corroding and/or melting. Keep the letter in case you ever have a problem with the blower.

I am replying in regards to the recall letter. I lost mine but recently got one this month in regards to my 2007 chevy silverado. I have the problem now as I speak. The passenger side heater works. however drive side is always cold. What do I do if lost my letter?
