Just a review of recon lights... Thought I was buying the best quality lighting. I have a bunch of their products on my truck... But my experience with their headlamps and HID kit is a little disappointing. First off on their projector headlamp... The glaze or gloss coating on the lenses peeled of after a little over a year. One would think for $600.00 the product would be better. Also, in December I puchased their HID kit... After two weeks one of the lamps would no longer light. Feeling problems proving the problem was with the lamps I purchased another kit... Replaced the ballast... Or what it is called and the light started working again. This was proof enough to me to contact them for warranty due to faulty parts. Anyway, I contacted them via email almost three weeks ago requesting a replacement part and expressing my concerns regarding their products and I have heard nothing back from them. Just wanted to share this info with anyone thinking about buying their products.

OK heard back from them today... They are sending me a replacement ballast. Also want me to send pic of my lights.

It is still crap that it took three weeks for a response. Everyone raves about their lights. I have a list of their products that I want for my truck. But hearing that they have terrible customer service will make me think twice about buying their products. Three weeks in today's world in unacceptable

Thought maybe they didn't receive my first email or something... Resent last nite and heard back from them this morning.
