My remote starter stopped working after my check engine light came on.
I had it checked and the code was a minor vacuum leak, gas cap..etc.
I disconnected the battery cables for 30 minutes & it cleared up for a couple days , then came back on. I cant find the vacuum leak, and my remote starter stopped working.
Any Help?
The factory remote starters are programmed to not work when your check engine light is on, so you will have to find and fix that vacuum leak to get rid of your check engine light if you want to be able to use the remote start without issues.
