This may be a stupid question, but what is the difference between a 1 way and 2 way remote starter? Thanks for the help. I dont know much about electronics.

The difference in 1-way and 2-way alarms and remote starts is that in a 2-way system, the vehicle can report back to you its current status, if the alarm has been set off, whether the truck successfully started, and other things. With a 1-way system you do not get any feedback on the remote.
