I hate to ask this dumb question but how does this plate light bulb come out? it pulls out right? dosent spin out? im getting ticked and need to replace this asap. should I crush the glass with a pair of pliers and giver a good pull?

stupid light!!!!! sorry for the dumb question!!!!!

Just pull! You might have to wrap it in a rag and pull on it with pliers. I would try not to break the glass. The filament will not be all that strong and when you pull it it will just break. Trust me, It sucks trying to fish the remaining pieces out of the socket.

I'm pretty sure that's a 194/168 lamp. That would mean that it'll pull straight out, but it's probably good and stuck. I'd wiggle it side to side in an angle roughly parallel to the filament and then pull.

hahaha I got it out guys thanks! I just wanted to make sure it wasnt a spin out even though I put it in and remember pushing it in and my spares are all push in hahahaha.... ya the glass smashed to bits so I tried small needle nose pliers. they didnt works so well so I got one of those really tiny flat head screw drivers and scraped all the bits out.... put the new one in along with dialectic grease and good to go!

no glass in fingers either Ray... although im sure I would have if I didnt use pliers!

thanks guys, no more worries at night now.
