I would stick with your 6.0, I've read where the 8.1's have some dependability issues (sorry I'm not putting anyone witha 8.1 down). I would look at upgrading your transmission and converter, I like Yank converters. Maybe some GOOD long tube headers from AmericanRacingHeaders, a cam and some head work (valve pockets, mild porting).
