Rivets for Bumper?????

734 Views 8 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  xPosTech
Guys,
I had a slight accident yesterday. I hit my bumper at a gas station and the rivets popped out. Where can I get the replacement rivets? Thanks in advance! My Sierra is a 2006 by the way. See attached pictures.....

If you're in a hurry Dorman makes replacements. Look in the HELP section at the parts stores. If the plastic seems to have taken a set or a dent slowly heat it up with a heat gun and pop the dent out. Be careful with the heat - it's easy to damage and melt it. If you haven't done this before try a hair dryer for a wider "not hot enough" and "too hot".

Yes. Again, look in the HELP section at one of the parts stores. Or ask the guy behind the counter.

4 or 5 years ago I got several packages of 10-12 fasteners to a package for $6 or $7 IIRC. Depends if you want to wait and if you have Prime or not. Much more convenient to go to the parts store.
