There is some truth to that. A whole lot of folks have had terrible issues with RC's 3" kit, which they now refer to as the re-engineered 3.5" kit. The kits wouldn't hold alignment due to the UCA's contacting the coils and the BJ's going out. The kit was total trash. I had one and it lasted about 2 months. After my experience combined with all of the bad experiences of others that I've read about, I wouldn't touch that kit. I did the install on my old 3" kit too and nothing lined up right. Personally I wouldn't consider it.
