Yes, could be a frozen u-joint, I think I have one right now.

Chris, as the tire guy said, do you feel it in the steering wheel?
Is there any grinding sounds?
Have you had the ball joints, the tie rods, etc checked for wear?
Yes, could be a frozen u-joint, I think I have one right now.

no sounds with the shake. and its a shake not a vibration, and not in the wheel its in the truck. ball joints tie rods etc are all good.

what do you mean frozen?
A worn, loose u-joint would be noisey, I was thinking of one that was real rusty/corroded and no long free to move as needed.
Could be on the rear driveshaft, or on the front (I think you said it was 4wd).
