Hi, I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext. Cab 4X4 with the 5.3L. I recently was hit in the fron end, and would like to put the newer 03-06 front bumper and grille on. I saw someone advertising their truck, which was the '99 Sierra and it had an '05 front end on it.
I can get all of the bumper brackets online for the new style, but was wondering if the core support also needs to be changed, or anything else?
Please help me if you know anyone who has done this upgrade or knows if it would work with a few modifications.
Hmm, not sure about that. Technically speaking, it's not impossible, but you're right if they don't bolt straight up you're looking at a problem. Anyone here done this?
