Advice Please, I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado 5.3 V8 Z71 LT Crew cab. Looking into getting it leveled bringing the front up 2 inches. Looking at the Rough Country 2-Inch Strut Leveling Kit, Letting the truck have a new look and also Improve Driveability and Enhance Handling while on road trips. I also have a 2,000 lbs boat and trailer haul.

Question, Do I need to replace the upper control arms to correct the new angles? Or the stock upper control be work fine?

I’m reading and hearing that the stock upper control arms been failing on people with newer trucks with leveling kits.

I called a few truck/off road shops but nobody gave me a straight answer all I got was “ you should be fine”

Only one person I talked to said “if you go more then 2 inch you change them. If your at 2 inch or lower your good”. This is one person out of 1/2 dozen.

Do I change upper control arms or keep stock?

If changed what are some options on aftermarket Upper control arms?

Thank you for your time.
