Hi everyone Im new to this forum, Im not new to autos etc. this is my 3rd chevy truck. I just purchased a like new 91 silverado with the 5.0 wthroddle body injection, auto from the original owner 128k. It looks like he kept it in a time capsule, so yesterday I was driving thru the Costco parking lot doing 2 or so miles per hr and the engine just quit slow and quiet. Started right up, then the next day the same thing going thru the gas station lot and the engine died again only this time no start. Pushed it out of the way and tried to start it again, nothing. So I listen for the fuel pump and it was wurring away, I then climbed into the engine compartment took the top off the air cleaner and had the wife start cranking it while I gave it some throddle. As it was cranking and I while giving it a little throddle I noticed fuel spraying from the injectors as it should and bam it not only started but went right too about 3k or so on the ol rpms, I had the wife shut it down right away. Then I went in and gave it a try and it started right up and ran fine all the way home 75miles. Has anyone had this type of problem, this is a hard one and I dont want to spend a ton having a shop try to chase this bug for days and lotsa $$$ thanks for any help.

Welcome to the club. I would start checking ALL the trucks grounds.
