My daughter has a '93 S10 Blazer with the 4.3? Vortex. Around 50,000 miles. It smokes pretty bad on start up. I need for her to get a couple more years out of it but I don't want to dump a lot of $$ into it. It there any oil additives that I can add to help the situation?
Restore? Marvel Mystery Oil? Anything? I know that it is probably a seal issue but like I said, I don't want to spend too much coin. Thanks in advance.

To be honest there isnt much you can do because it is the valve seats that are shot allowing oil to pass by on initial start up till everything warms up and tightens up. Best bet is just keep up on the oil changes. The 350s also do this and last a very long time like that. just keep an eye on the oil level as well.
Actually not to bash what murdog said but it would be your valve stem seals that are causing your smoking issue by letting oil get by. This is a pretty common problem on small block chevy motors.
