What do you guys think about stainless steel rocker panels? Particularly on a truck my color. Anyone have some good pics? Just looking for some opinions, thanks.

the stainless steel rocker panel trim usually looks good but i think it'd look awesome on your truck if you add some more chrome like door handle covers to go with it. jmo love the tow mirrors btw

The main reason I don't like them is because they hold dirt and moisture. We removed alot of them and everyone had stains on the paint from the moisture sitting behind the panels.

Thanks guys, That was one of my concerns along with the salt in the winter, they use A LOT of it here. I'm just looking for something to break up the solid color of the truck. Maybe gonna look at some graphics for the sides???

Stainless rockers looked good back in the '90's, and even then they didn't look that good. I'm with STB, I think your truck looks good the way it is, in your sig it looks like it is the dark cherry color? If so that is one of my favorites, after dark ming blue metallic of course, have you thought about removing the moldings? You would be surprised at what a difference that makes.

Yeah, it is the dark cherry. Haven't considered taking off the moldings, but I will. Less is more eh??
