I have a new 2011 chevy 2500 silverado 4x4 extended cab Duramax. In the front bumper there is a oblong hole behind it is the transmission cooler it looks like there should be something in that hole to protect it from rock's,bugs, somekind of screen I know it can't be closed because of air flow. One of the fins is already been it by something I have asked the dealer and they do not know of anything that should be there I have looked at other 2500's and ther is nothing in that space,is this a design flaw?

Stan, Welcome to GMTC. There is a Ask GM Thread that you can post that sort of question and get an answer as well as you can post in the other tech forums. Chances are you will get a better response there since this is primarily the introduction forum for new GMTC members.

If you don't feel like messing with it I'll gladly take the truck off your hands for ya! :)

Welcome to the club! I haven't noticed this problem on our 08 2500

Haha I think so! And to make it even better I keep a savage .223 in my truck at all times! I'm pumped for coyote season! Just bought a new savage model 111 7mm with bushnell 3x9 scope combo last sunday. Shot it last night and I love it!

lol its not that impressive because i could see a deer carcass from my house and shot at two other coyotes that morning so it would have been ridiculous if i didnt get atleast one of them.
