I have a 1999 chevy suburban that was running perfect until i let this idiot at work install a fuel treatment in my gas tank which in turn started my suburban to have problems starting so i changed the fuel filter that did help a little then my starter goes out so i changed it out. so i just add more fuel and try and run it on the highway but on my way home my fuel pump shuts down ... so i get a tow home and just before i buy the new fuel pump i change out the fuel pump relay and bam my fuel pump comes on and my truck is running perfect. but now i have this hum from under the dash area it is not constant and doesn't speed up with acceleration . but i does show up when i am coasting or idle please does anyone know what this could be????????????:grrrrrr:

******Thread moved here********

you have a power issue for the fuel pump that is related to the very cummy wiring that they ran for the fuel pump. I would check out the Fuel pump ground and work your way back. There is a good chance that the harness in the tank is cooked and causing it to overload the circut hence the loss of the relay.
