GO SLOW!
I haven't put them in your model truck, but I did a 2010 F350 SD awhile back, and I'm pretty sure that headlight housing cost more than the strobe kit, my pay, any insurance the guy has, whatever story I could come up with...
Plan out where you want the light (focal point of the reflector), how you're going to hold the light, how to drill into it, and the afore mentioned story to tell your significant other of why you need a new headlight. I also keep the shop vac and qtips handy to remove the plastic slag from inside the housing after you're done.
Plan it out, go slow, hope for the best. Oh, and check local laws for having strobes in your vehicle.
Welcome to Club, and good luck,
