i just finally hooked a 12 inch kicker up into my 2007 NBS silverado ext cab. im looking to see if anyone has any sub box recommendations to mount this thing under the seat, currently its in a basic box but its taking a seat up....

ive found numerous boxes, however none that can handle a 6 .5 inch deep sub.... anyone have any suggestions?

There's always been some confusion re: the new/old body styles when GM changes models. The 1999 - 2007 New Body Style is a GMT800 also known as the 07 Classic. The 2007 - 2013 New New Body Style is a GMT900.

It makes it confusing for all of us.

being a 12 .93cuft is going to sound like crap. i have some beefy 8's for sale that will do about as much as 4 of those 12's will ever dream of doing. they are going to require a bit more power to push than what kicker 12's do. you will want atleast a 2200 watt rms amp. the good side is these 8's can be happy in a .75cuft box each. they will work down to .5cuft. most chevy trucks can fit them under the back seat.
