swaping from TBI to Carb. 1991 Suburban.

I have a 1991 Suburban sitting on 39's with a new 383 stroker and would really appreciate any help on getting this thing running right. Do I bypass the computer? Is there a computer to bypass? I bought a fuel pressure regulator and it's showing 6 P.S.I. so at least that's working. Do I need to change out the distributor? Anyone done one of these out there?
