I am building a truck for my daughter I took a 1984 s10 4x4 and swapped in a 5.7 from a 1988 c1500.
So the issue is it has no TBI inj ground pulse during crank if I dump fuel down the TBI unit it will start and run as long as I don't shut it off. checked pulse with noid lite also checked all wire for ICM and injectors for continuity from ECM to each part also checked entire fuel pump system working good. We had a rain storm here and some of the rain got into the engine compartment as long as it was wet the engine would start and run great with out help. I know it's a loose connection just looking for some assistants to figure out where the bad connection might be. Im considering wetting small parts of the harness until it goes away at this point.

Check your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), if it shows the throttle is open, the ECM thinks you're in "flooded mode" and will shut off the injectors.

Okay so we found the problem, It is a partial bad connection in the ignition switch, when it rained here the moisture in the air would make a conduit for connection it would only shut off the injector power slightly.
