Mine too, but it’s the acceleration that sucks. :(
I have a 1000 rpm gap before it will start to accelerate.
Driving on the highway and cruising no problem.

Rear axel ratio has more to do with acceleration than the torque converter. Unless you have a slippage problem, or the trany is low on fluid. The axel ratios are so low in these the problem in acceleration is that you have a 3 ton truck and unless you have a 454 engine you don’t have a lot of HP.
