My 06 Silverado seems fine. Have you checked the spring? Could be broken or loose. Also you could have a problem with the throttle position sensor.

My 04 sub has a very lite spring on the throttle. does anyone else find this anoying?

I've had this happen before, quick and easy fix to replace the spring. I think it was my lead foot that caused it in the first place! :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
