No I haven't but will be real interested in the convert to E85, lots of rework, new lines, tank, computer, sensors.
RE: TPI on a 95 burb ??

That sounds like a lot of work. I'm not saying it can't be done, or puting you down or anything. But, whoo... Converting to E85 will be fun. New 'puter with new o2 sensors, new tank, or having the one you have cleaned and re-sealed. ALL new injectors, fuel lines, and filters. If you do convert it to E85, let us know how much it cost.
RE: TPI on a 95 burb ??

i cant really understund why "everybody" shoud exchange fuellines , tank etc that is ust B.S .. that isent neccecery .. i have converted around 20 cars here in sweden already the easy way by using an adjusteble fuelpressorregualtor to ad moore fuel ,, they al drive on 100 % etanol for over a year now and still not any problems , the biggest problem is the cold start in the winter session but then even the fabricbuild cars (like the saab 9-5 ecopower) has big problem to get it started the first time when it´s cold ,, i find out that by using HALO plugs there are alot of bennefits ,, if a car is getting troubble starting at +5*c u get the same troubble at - 5*c when using these plugs .. i ran those plugs in my 94-astrovan and did get alot better fueleconomy out of the truck

well back to the start of this topic ,, if u compere an TBI system to an TPI the tpi is far better and mecanical it´s an easy job to switch it but who can help me with the ecm-moddifications ? this info i´l got from a guy whos work´s with the megasquirt system that il at a start was thinking about to use to have the possebilyties to adjust the fuelsystem

"
If the stock ECM is TBI then there is quite a lot you can do to reprogram that as the code in it has been completely hacked and is available. Bit slow with Eprom changes, but very doable. You may even be able to load TPI code into it (I got into MS whilst playing with the GM stuff, but rusty at the moment).

so right now im whating for some moore info from this guy and then i though that someone here perhapps had done this convertion earyer

Just stating what is different on the GM flex fuel vehicles.

The lines and tank have a Teflon, (I believe) coating inside to prevent corrosion from the new fuel.

If you don’t change those things when you change over in the beginning you will eventually will have to because of corrosion. Not saying you can’t get away with it for a period of time, not sure how long it would take to eat threw a fuel line but it will.

I live in Maine, USA. Your cold start problems in the temperatures you mention would be no start problems here in Maine. -20 degrees F is not an unusual.

0 degrees C = 32 degrees F. So you can see why there would be problems with that.

The computer system has this sensor for telling it what degree of ethanol is in the system and in turn changes the mixture.

It is much simpler to change a carbureted engine over to ethanol than a fuel injected engine. But unless you are willing to change over to that, and god forbid someone has to push a gas pedal now days.

We have become technologically dependant.

Hi i seems that if u want some kind of answer from the tech dep of the big places (summit , jegs , hotrodlane etc ) ower there there is two words u NEVER shall write .. 1. muslim and 2. E85 (ETANOL) GIIEEEE !!!!!! u woudent belive those answers il got .. they tell my Bla.bla. bla. federal laws , bl.a bla and as raf as i understund i dont have to bother about federal US laws as loong as i live in sweden ;-) well im thinking about a possible shortcut in this matter ,, har anyone tried out the ACCEL injection system ?

and Btw what is a IPU harness. that is included in this system ? in the simular ACC-77141 they dosent say anything about this harnesst ??

it looks quite alright to me , but if i buy one do i need an widescan O2 sensor to really see how the engine is running or is this sytem good egnuff ?

any jepp i know it´s alot of money on this one but with the pricing of gas in sweden i havent have to run that far before it pays of
and also run on E85 if better for al of us in the world so it´s not yust a moneydeppending isue ..

Why do dogs lick there dicks ???? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ( becuse they can )
