:sign0016:Welcome to the forums. My work truck is a 06 Silverado with 85k miles. It looks like I will have to trade it in at 100k for a F150, so I'm going where you've been. I'll still have the burb though. What changes are you planning for the gears/tires?

There was a rumor of Tundra's being on the list, but we have 4 F150's sitting idle in the yard, so it looks pretty certain I'm going F***. Going to miss the capacity of K2500.:grrrrrr:

don't plan on going to big with the wheels/tires. If I keep the stock wheels I was thinking some 265/70/17 at's or if I upgrade to 20's 275/55/20 at's. Gears are a toss up between 3.73 and 4.10. The stock tires, 245/75/17 look just tiny on my truck. And the 3.23 gears are terrible from a start. Love the mpg tho 14.75 mostly traffic and city, haven't had a chance to test out highway. Thats nearly 3mpg more then my 97 f150 with 70 less hp :great:. I'm hoping to get on a 1.5" leveling kit soon. And a ton of hp and some exterior mods. Its just hard with the new body style, the aftermarket just isn't there yet ya know.
