Changed out the shift cable this weekend , now it won’t come out of 2nd and it will only go into 2nd if I manually shift it . But can’t get it to go into drive or overdrive. Also I have a hard time getting it to go into park or 1st . Have to try several times fast slow etc etc . Usually it’s fast several times that works . I understand how to adjust I thought but how would I adjust it to go farther both ways lol . Any ideas . Oh it’s a 2000 Silverado lt 4x4

you removed the old cable then inspect the new cable that is correct ...probably the new is wrong.
my 2000 silverado the tranny finger was worn and fell off on the tranny lever pin ..that fell off to connect on the cable.
