If it's the same as my 2003, then you turn the key to the "on" position (but keep the engine off)
then pump the gas all the way 3 times within 5 seconds.
The light in mine is an "Oil Change Light" and it will only turn off by itself if you have your oil changed at a dealership where it is hooked up to their computers. If you get your oil changed at "Jiffy Lube" or whatever, or like to do it yourself like I do, then you'll have to turn it off yourself.
