Well, I'm going out of town tonight to spend a few days with some friends in Jackson, MS. It's about a 6 or 7 hour drive, just depending on how fast we go and what the traffic/weather is like. Should be fun, we'll be coming back on tuesday so it's a short trip.

We'll load up the vehicle and head out this evening and will get there late tonight. It sure is nice to have a dependable vehicle for a road trip. I've got a new battery, good tires and low miles on this bad boy to get me there and back safely.

I can beat that Peter. I drive across my state, Rhode Island in 45 min, and that's taking my time. If you take the highway, 95 you can drive through Rhode Island in about 25 minutes. (depending on traffic) Steve does live in the second largest state in the USA....
Actually Rhode Island is about the size of Dallas FW mile for mile.

We're back. The trailblazer did just fine on the trip! 425 miles each way.

Yeah, I have known people who have travelled around Europe quite a bit. Someone here will jump in the car and drive for 4 hours without even thinking about it, while a European will plan for weeks for the same trip.
