Water inside the windshield glass [Expired Topic]

My '97 'Burban has developed a strange issue. Since I moved from New England to the Pacific NW last year, it's been out in a lot of heavy rain. I've been hearing water in the heater box and found the floor wet on the driver's side. Last week the CD player started acting up and today I noticed the strangest thing I've ever seen - The windshield has fingers of water on both sides, top to bottom and extending 1" to 1 1/2" in. It is clearly between layers of glass! Input, anyone[/img]

If it is truly between the layers of glass it sounds like the glass has delaminated and the water is running between the layers of glass. My suggestion is to take it to a glass place and make sure that is happening. Then if it is you may be able to squirt some more urethane in on top of the glass but under the molding. Have it checked by a glass company. Then get back to us.
What part of the Northwest are you in? I lived in Seattle and let me tell you, there is a good reason why I moved! Rain every 7 years! :)

That would be the first time that I've ever heard of water inside of the layers. Would be interested in hearing if they can fix it.
