Hey,

I just bought a 2008 Suburban LTZ, and I can't figure out what the rims are made of. I can't find the brochure for the 2008 suburban to see what the stock rims on the LTZ are made of on the 2008 LTZ. Then again they might be the upgraded rims... this is what they look like...http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Pictures-t31952-pi35766387-2008-Suburban-LTZ-1500-4WD.html

Any help would be much appreciated!! Also, if you have any recommendations of what to use to clean and polish them, that would also be awesome!!

Thanks,

Brandon

99'HEARTBEAT did a pretty good job of answering what they are made out of, so I will answer what you clean them with. You can clean the wheels the same way as the rest of your vehicle. It's polishing where the different styles make a difference. If you have the painted ones, they an be polished using either at the same wax/polish you would use on your paint, or using a a wheel polish/protectant that is compatible with painted wheels. If you have the polished ones, I would suggest using a good aluminum polish or a wheel protectant such as gtechniq c5 wheel armor or something similar to keep those wheels a looking nice and shiny
