I have a 2004 silverado and im trying to get some mudder/off road tires for my truck. So my question is whats the biggest size tire and rim size I can use on my truck without having any problems. I would appreciate any help

My truck is very similar to yours and I had some 265/65/16s that rubbed a little when brand new but went away over time as they wore down. If you are staying with stock wheels, I'd be cautious going any bigger than that. I now have some 265/70/17s on some -1 offset wheels that do not rub.

If you are that concerned with looks and want MUD tires then you may want to looking into a lift or at least a front leveling kit and then some negative off-set wheels. Small mud tires just wouldn't look right so you'll be going bigger than 265s at which point you'll need some separation between the tires and the frame and body.

And I'm not trying to talk you out of what you want but something to consider is that mud tires won't be serving much purpose on a 2WD truck, other than looks.
