I have a 1994 chevy 1 ton van with 83,000 miles on it. (350/ 4L80E) Everything works on it. I also have a 1983 chevy truck. Haven't been able to sell the van, and the offers I have gotten are around $1500. Can't afford a payment and an LS conversion is out for now.. Would you part out the van taking everything out of it and putting it in the truck and just scrap the rest? Seriously thinking of taking the motor, trans and computer and doing an injected swap. It is running and driving, but I really miss driving my truck. Opinions, suggestions?
I'm with watters; if you're up to the task, swapping in the FI is good idea. If you do scrap the van, I'm looking for quarter window seals and a grille.
