well ive got a 1997 c1500. great truck got 235000 miles on it and just startin to have problems with it. i believe its got a 700r4 tranny and thinkin about upgrading. any suggestions?

Welcome to the club. The 700R4 is a pretty good tranny. You can get them built with upgrades & make them plenty strong for towing. B&M, Jet transmission & a few others do some great mods to the 700R4s.

i apriciate the very warm welcome from everybody, im very new to the whole forum thing and really dont know where or how im supposted to post things. im trying to figure it out though. but now im really not sure what tranny ive got it might be the 4L60 but im looking to up grade the entire truck over a 2 year peorid. just starting with the tranny because its starting to go out.
