I was poking around looking at doing to trans upgrades like some of the kits from Oregon performance trans. Was wanting to make sure that my 2008 z71 5.3 is still using the 4L60

I was poking around looking at doing to trans upgrades like some of the kits from Oregon performance trans. Was wanting to make sure that my 2008 z71 5.3 is still using the 4L60

To find out what Transmission you have, Go to the inside of your Glove and you will see a White Sticker.....with your Trucks Vin # and a Series of Letter's and Number's.....those are RPO Code's, in short what your Truck came with from the Factory,

You will be looking for one of the Following RPO Code's,
.....M30.........which is the 4 Speed Auto.....4L60e
.....MYC........which is the 6 Speed Auto......6L80

Edit:.....Forgot about the 3rd Transmission...RPO Code.....MYD......which is the 6 Speed Auto......6L90.

I do appreciate it i used to have the meanings to those codes. Now just out of curiosity I am going to search but has anyone seen a right on how to install the vette servo on here
