Who's got a bug guard on the front of their truck? Some poeple also call them a rock-chip guard. I think next to mud flaps, it's got to be the most common exterior accessory that exists? What do you think?

After looking at about every style/color/price range of bug guards ever created, I purchased a clear one for my '04 Trailblazer. Although the clear can be painted any color (usually the same as the exterior color), I've left it as is. Good part is that it's practically invisible bad, part is the crap that gets between it and the hood is visible ! The benefits of having a bug guard far out way the purchase price (which isn't that much to begin with), and installation is a breeze.

I agree. For other vehicles I have only paid as little at $50-75 for a unit and it installs in less than 10 minutes with almost no tools.

Hard to beat.

It would not stay on, no watter what I did, and after a fw months I threw it away.

I have one on my 06 TBSS. I bought a clear one and it didn't look right so I took it off and bought a smoke colored one. I still have the clear one if anyone needs one. It's the AVS 25148-C.

I had a bra for my 02 LTZ. It was GM brand bra that I bought from the dealer and it was awesome. It never came off or flopped up and down, even at highway speeds:biggrin: .

I've got one on my Yukon. When I bought my truck it had 50k Miles and no rock chips, so it was my first investment. I bought a black one and at 103500 miles it still looks and works fine.

I just put one on my '05 TB. It's a Smoke color "WeatherTec by MacNiel Automotive", great guard this is my second vehicle with one. My last vehicle I put over 100k miles on it with a WeatherTec guard; it still looked as good when I sold it as the day I installed it. Cost was ~ $70 shipped to my door.

Just my .02
