I took mine off, I only really needed them to flick ash out the window when it was raining. Now that I've been smoke free for over 3 years I realized I didn't need them anymore. I did notice that wind noise is reduced without them and when I have the window open there is less buffeting now too. Just putting it out there.

I was thinking about getting a set but have pretty much deceided against it as I don't think they're really necessary. Plus my side windows are tinted to 20% so I'd probably end up with some blind spots.
See thats my issue! i have talked myself out of it a few times because my windows are 3% in the back and 6% on the front two so i dont know if they would hurt my visibility any more than it already is...

I have 5% Tint on top of 20% tint all the way around my truck so all my windows are probably 3% or below and also have eyebrow on windshield done. I have the AVS window visors they are not the inline ones and blind spots are not a problem at all since they do not effect in anyway of blocking your mirrors.

I wouldnt worry about the blind spots from it as you dont see much of it out the window. I have them and I am kinda nuetral on them. is nice when its a little warm and rainy you can crack them and not worry about the rain. Same with hot days, or just use the ac. Mine are the gm ones that are stuck on with the 3m tape. I have one that is starting to lift a little on the back edge. A little older pic of the truck but shows the visors well.

I think the Inline window visors would look good on sporty looking trucks and the Offroad look trucks look best with the non inchannel ones.

good point about the blind spots! i personally like the inchannel ones because i have friends that are starting to unstick and they just flop around. Thanks guys! oh and rockstarr with you saying that about the sporty look and the off road look which look would you consider mine? to me its sort of in between...

I think the In Channels would look better on your truck because it has both appeals and would give it that clean look.

Why don't you upload some pictures of your truck? I have seen it some but they are small pic's i like the blacked out look though. I ordered some rvinyl tint film for my headlights, taillight, third brake light and turn signal on my mirrors.

I have the Weathertech in-channels on my truck, and blind spots haven't been an issue. After a couple days, you don't even notice them.

x2 on Weathertech in-channel vent visors. High quality, easy to install, low profile fit. If you have an extended cab get them only for the fronts unless you require the rears for the look. Why? For extended cabs the rears only stick on to the windows -- so it's a look-only thing. Thus, if you don't need that look you can save a few bucks going front-only with the extended cab.
