Drill is the cleanest.

Use a rubber gromet of the right size, and silicone it before putting it in.
If I wasn't interested in putting new holes in my rig, I would find one of the rubber body plugs, and punch a hole in it, feed the wire through, and then silicone the wire, and plug to keep the water out.

Otherwise I agree with 84Fiero.
ok so i should drill the hole..get like a gromit thing than i plug it??if i was to plug the hole how would the wire go thru? i know with my plow truck i just dont give a damn so idrilled a hole and left it its soo rusty i dont even have a bed their is just a huge hole in it..but i mean i want to do thisthing right bc i want to give it to my daughter someday
