Hey guys!!!

Next weekend I am going to be insalling a 1.5" body lift on my 07 NBS Silverado. I was considering doing a write-up on the installation. I also was considering making a video of the insall. Would anybody want to see that? Would anybody rather have a write-up or a video?

I have done a lot of searching to see how people have handled moving the brush guard up with the 1.5" kit but I havent found anything out on the web, so I thought it might be helpful to show how to do that. Also include before and after shots in the video. This will be my first write-up/video so any suggestion of what you guys would be looking for would be helpful.

Oh yea, I can't wait to show off all my mods I havent shown you guys yet. Ive added tow mirrors, ranch hand brush guard and grey fender flares that match the two tone and the rims!!!

Again let me know what you think about a write-up. I'm really excited to do it!1

Ummm I vote for both!! But If I had to chose I say a write up. I've found them more useful if they are full of pictures.

Sweet! I hope I can get some excitement for it. I'm super excited to do it and I want it to be helpful and hopefully help some guys make some decisions on what they want to do with their trucks!

Definitely. If you do the write-up with video for specific steps of the install it would be real helpful. Plus, we want to see and hear that bad boy.

I'm thinking write up with pictures and a step by step instructional video.

I will be sure to show off the the no muffler pipes with the newly installed 5" tips. Super deep, and best of all no popping noises. My pipes would have to be my favorite mod on my truck.

Doing both is going to be a lot of work for you. I think a write up & pics would be the most beneficial to someone who is following along as an instruction to do their own. With a video they would have to keep replaying it to catch the parts they missed, whereas the pics & write up they could just follow your instructions one page & one step at a time & it would be more fluid.
Doing a video is going to be really labor intensive for you. Picking the video cam up every time you do each step,washing your hands so you keep the camera clean, & narrating each step. Way easier for you to just do text & still pics.

I feel like a video would be nice to see before looking at pictures. Just my opinion, I know there will be a lot of work involved when making the video, but that's what my girlfriend's macbook is for.

Hey I'll let him lol. I was just pointing out how much work it'll be for him. It would be much appreciated by all, it's just a major undertaking

I totally agree with you Stephan ,tons of work but i think everybody on here would give him his props for it!
