Though I don't have any experience with body lifts, from what I've read/ heard you really can't go wrong with either kit.
I believe I've read that the bumper brackets with the zone kit are easier to install.
looking at the instructions i think your right. whats the hardest part of the install?
I agree with blackout. If I remember right, zone has better instructions as well.
ok ive decided to go with a body lift instead of a suspension cuz a guy i know has a suspension lift and told me that he can never trade his truck in cuz he had to trim the frame for the new cross members. dealers wont take it. gotta save money for the zone kit and go rhino dominator 2's. oh by the way does anyone know the load capacity of those steps? i emailed the company and got no answer.

He needs to find another dealer. I see used/lifted rigs all over. As far as the GR's, I'm 240 and they dont have any trouble supporting me.
^ X2 our dealers are always selling lifted trucks.
they said something about having to claim it when insurance companies or the dmv ask if the frame of the vehicle has been modified. i remember being asked that before but never paid much attention to it.
i never got asked by insurance companys if my frame has ever been modified. well i dont know what to tell you know then
Maybe its a stupid new York state thing like it always is. It's so hard to have a cool truck here with all the laws.
hey blackout have you ever had any troubles with your steering extension?
That's weird. Dealerships send brand new trucks to lift shops all the time around here. They typically keep one on their lot decked out with a nice 6" kit.

jus wondering why you asked this?

Nope

Some have been known to have a little slack in them. Nothing major.
I have a 3 inch pa and after the install the steering acted like it was binding. Did some research and zones steering extension is shorter. I dont understand why. But i ordered a new extension and bumper brackets from zone. (my bumper got a little twisted playing around one night lol) But i got the new extension and it didnt have the bolt with it. They wanted to charge another 10 bucks for the bolt and to ship it. I work on a farm and it was busy season so I just left it alone. Ive checked all my bolts and everything and it isnt binding anymore. I do admit I wish Id have gone with a zone body lift in the first place.
