Hi everyone, I’m dealing with a frustrating issue on my chevy silverado For the past year, it’s gone into limp mode randomly every 1-2 months with the coolant temp shooting up, but the coolant level always checks out fine. Restarting would temporarily resolve it, but now the issue has become permanent.
I scanned it and got code U1035 (missing/incorrect data for primary ID) and cylinder heat protection. Clearing the code only works for about 30 seconds while the engine is running, then it’s back.
Any advice or solutions from those who’ve dealt with this before would be greatly appreciated!
