Good Morning Fellow Members,
I have a 1999 GMC Suburban SLE, I am working on completing my audio installation and having an issue with locating the factory amplifier so that I can bypass this feature. I know there is one in there because when I replaced my rear speakers they would not work until I connected the blue and pink wire together. Then it started working with no issues. I have looked everywhere under the dashboard from end to end and can not locate the amplifier. I took out the glove box and did not see anything that looked like an amp, as well as looked under the driver's side and did not see anything that resembled what it should look like. Thank you for any information and, hopefully, a diagram that can give me more info.
